Hibernation

We have not updated on here for a while so I'm gonna do it all in one go.
We've had some mixed luck as of late, Newcastle and Durham were destroyed on our Halloween weekender but the show with Rot In Hell fell through so with many red bulls and service station snacks we drove through the night to get home. The morning we were to play with Rise And Fall, Coliseum and Nails in Norwich, Duggan cut his arm on some glass and had to go to A&E for some treatment. Low and behold Duggan was in pain and we would not have made the show on time and had to pull out, shit happens!
We did however play at TDON 6 fest last Saturday with a bunch of great bands and friends. Thanks to all who watched us and bought some records/merch! Props also to Farrell and James T for being awesome.
Unfortunately the show we were meant to play with Burning Love and Hang The Bastard got cancelled due to the snow which totally blowed as Burning Love are great.
So that brings us up to date.
Some good luck, some bad luck, this band will always take what gets thrown at it though.

We are now going into hibernation to write and record our debut album. Updates will follow and we are very excited at the thought of making this thing. It's gonna be some kind of monster.

Ziggypop Fest ~ Belgium 2010

Break Down

So we had a great show with Length Of Time, Rise And Fall, and our friends in Hang The Bastard and This Is Colour at Ziggypop fest in Belgium. Good hang outs and even better Belgium Fries! We had a great time.
Unfortunately our van broke down on the way to our London Purple Turtle show with Lonewolves (whos last show it was!!!) and so didn't get to play it! We were very bummed out. Our poor van had to get loaded on the back of a lorry and taken back to Margate. Our next London show will be TDON 6 on the 27th November.

Length Of Time / Santa Karla Arwork + New Track

Artwork for the forthcoming split with Length Of Time is now finished, courtesy of Mr. Simon Erl.  To celebrate this we've uploaded the track Plague Host from the record to our Myspace page.  TDON towers have pre-orders in the very near future. 

BANE & TRAPPED UNDER ICE

It seems every decent band in the UK has been added to this weekender in October.  Milton Keynes won't know what hit it.  We are playing the Sunday with Bane and Trapped Under Ice, we'll be on 3rd so get down early, then catch Cold Snap after we play. Alpha & Omega are a band worth checking out too, actually the whole day looks like it's going to be killer.  Excitement.

Hevy Fest

Hevy Fest is happening in a few weeks, Santa Karla are playing on the Saturday afternoon, that's August 7th.  It's not often that Kent plays host to a lineup of this magnitude and tickets are selling out fast for the whole weekend.  A word of warning, Glassjaw are playing.  That is all.

TDON 6 LONDON

TDON 6 is happening on November 27th 2010 at The Underworld, London.  Tickets are now on sale here, get one before they sell out, last years fest went in a matter of days and with a lineup like this it'll be no exception.  Do not ask us for guestlist, you will be turned down and/or ignored.

Bitter End In CT And Split 7" Update

This is the week after Hevy, we haven't played Canterbury for a while and the lineup is gnarly, only 2 local bands playing (Breaking Point don't count as actual local now Louis isn't living in Kent).  Raising Hell are a new CT band, a wise move would be to get to the venue early to check them out so you can say you saw them go on first at an all dayer in 4 years time and sound like you've been around ages.


Pre-orders for the Length Of Time split will go up real soon, we've got the artwork finalized and mastering is being done as we speak, 2 songs from each band, I can assure you the LOT side is going to kick your face in, real on-form stuff.  For you record collectors there'll be a variety of colours, TDON will have a package to get the full set if you're like Duggan and waste money on slabs of coloured polyvinyl chloride.

Hevy Fest

We are playing Hevy Festival on August 7th in Kent alongside Gallows, Trash Talk, Comeback Kid, labelmates TRC and a whole host of other great bands.  Tickets are on sale now, this is the biggest thing to hit Kent music wise and you'll be mental to miss it.  Glassjaw and Sepultura are playing the Sunday.  Tickets are available at here.

LOT / SK MMX

Further to our announcement that we are involved in a split 7" with Belgium's Length Of Time we have above the flyer for said record. It's looking like a July release date and things are moving along smoothly, pre-orders will go up shortly, await details of a release show for the record.

Length Of Time / Santa Karla Split 7" Out This Summer

We are very pleased to announce Santa Karla are doing a split 7" with Length Of Time this summer on Thirty Days Of Night Records. Length Of Time have an established back catalogue of full length records on Belgiums Goodlife Recordings and it is an honour to be sharing a record with them. anyone not familiar with their songs can download their 'Shame To This Weakness Modern World' record here.

Pre-orders should be up on the TDON store in the next few weeks and the release date is scheduled for late June/early July.

Vinyl and plague hosts...

Pre-orders for our split with Jealous will be up soon, keep and eye out for those to go up some time next month as recording is underway right now. Give Up has been beavering away on the artwork and the preliminary designs we received before the new year look phenominal. It's going to be on 12" too so we'll make sure all the pressing info is well documented for anyone who likes to collect full sets on vinyl. Expect a cover from both bands, you have been warned.

We're also on the TDON 5.5 all dayer on March 20th. It's got Azriel, BWP, Hang The Bastard and many more, we're likely to be on in the afternoon.

April we're off to Belgium for a few shows with Worms Feed and Sundowning, more details to come on this one.

In addition to that we have been added to the Narrows show in Brussels on May 1st with Daggers and Oathbreaker, we should really play the UK more eh...

2010

The new year is upon us, '09 was a blast for us, we had some lineup changes which are now as solid as ever, we're well on the way to complete writing for our full length and we've lined up a split release with our friends in Jealous on Fist In The Air records.

Touring wise we're taking some time out for writing and demoing new material but we've got some nice stints pencilled in for May onwards in Europe and the UK.
